Responsibilities
Create and manage content for department screen displays
Update and maintain departmental website to ensure content accuracy, functionality, and accessibility
Manage and update departmental social media platforms with timely and engaging content
Design and create content for departmental newsletters
Photograph departmental and center events for use in digital and print communications
Serve as departmental liaison with Information Services for faculty, staff, students, and grad students
Contribute to front office operations including visitor reception, shipment/delivery handling, and student assistance
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree in communications, graphic design, business or a related field plus 2 years related experience; equivalent education/experience considered
Experience in graphic design applications including Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite
Demonstrated communication, organizational, and time-management skills
Demonstrated ability to balance the administration of multiple projects, meet deadlines with attention to detail, and work as part of a team
Preferred
Knowledge of social media and web marketing for higher education and/or retail
Basic HTML skills along with web design and content writing experience
Ability to maintain and troubleshoot computers, audio visual, and/or teleconferencing equipment
