Responsibilities

Operational Excellence: Prepare, maintain, and distribute essential reports tracking delinquency, maturity dates, and timing exceptions to keep our team informed and proactive

Loan Application Oversight: Review and monitor each commercial loan application to ensure adherence to Trustco Bank’s lending policies and compliance with all relevant regulations

Customer & Interdepartmental Liaison: Act as a primary point of contact for clients and internal teams, facilitating communication, gathering necessary documentation, and ensuring timely follow-up for all loan-related activities

Regulatory & Compliance Monitoring: Conduct thorough reviews of customer files, CRA, and HMDA data to ensure regulatory standards are met, working closely with Loan Officers to rectify discrepancies

Reporting & Documentation: Maintain meticulous logs on problem loan action plans, violations, and covenant enforcement, providing detailed updates to senior management on a weekly and monthly basis

Administrative Support & Coordination: Assist Loan Officers with file management, document tracking, and general administrative duties, including supply ordering and support for maintenance or technical issues

Client Engagement: Facilitate correspondence and follow-up activities, ensuring a positive experience for present and potential clients

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in a business-related field preferred

Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines

Strong verbal and written communication abilities

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Fluent in English; bilingual a plus

Access to reliable transportation
