Responsibilities

Supporting system administration for P‑3 Ground Support mission systems, including lab environments and operational sites
Assisting engineering teams during software integration, testing, PITCO, SOVT, and installation events
Providing troubleshooting and technical support for hardware/software discrepancies identified during installation or via the ISS Help Desk
Supporting secure system configurations, cybersecurity compliance, and RMF‑aligned hardening activities
Participating in technical meetings with NIWC Atlantic, NAVAIR, OEMs, and international partners
Develop, implement, and promote standard IT procedures and documentation
Perform complex software installations, updates, and patching to ensure system availability and security
Conduct daily operational maintenance, including system monitoring, alarm response, and verification of scheduled backups in accordance with policies
Managing and maintaining Active Directory accounts, permissions, and group policies
Providing user support for enterprise applications such as Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, and Symantec Enterprise Vault
Recommending hardware, software, and infrastructure improvements to ensure system integrity and availability
Evaluating vendor products and technologies for modernization initiatives
Providing redline updates, configuration tracking, and support for system documentation packages

Required

Two‑year technical degree and seven plus years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience with extensive hands‑on expertise in P-3 foreign military support, including post‑mission analysis, tactical ground support systems, and acoustic/tactical software applications
Proven systems administrator expert in P‑3 tactical systems, including TASS, MARS, AMS, ISR, ULS, and related MPRA analysis tools
Demonstrated success supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs, including international site installations, system integration, and network administration training for partner nations
Develop, implement, and promote standard IT procedures and documentation
Perform complex software installations, updates, and patching to ensure system availability and security
Conduct daily operational maintenance, including system monitoring, alarm response, and verification of scheduled backups in accordance with policies
Strong communication skills and the ability to work with diverse technical and international stakeholders
Detail‑oriented and highly organized, with a track record of managing schedules, coordinating installations, and supporting high‑tempo operational environments
Must possess a DoD secret clearance
Supporting DoD systems, P-3 FMS Sustainment efforts, secure environments, or mission‑critical operations
Managing and maintaining Active Directory accounts, permissions, and group policies
Providing user support for enterprise applications such as Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, and Symantec Enterprise Vault
Recommending hardware, software, and infrastructure improvements to ensure system integrity and availability
Evaluating vendor products and technologies for modernization initiatives
Providing redline updates, configuration tracking, and support for system documentation packages
Approximately 10%-20% travel
