Responsibilities

Setting up and preparing materials specified on the work order to be produced on the machine
Working hand in hand with the Operator in the production process
Transporting raw materials and finished materials using a forklift
Maintaining cleanliness in work area during shift and shift transitions
Participating in scheduled cleaning and preventative maintenance on the machine
Recording all raw material waste and recycling
Labeling all finished and return to stock material accurately
Supporting Laminator Operator in setting up and production in the lamination department
Breaking down raw material or film from skids to be loaded onto the machine
Using mechanical lift to load/unload printed and laminated rolls on and off the machine and adjust shaft for recommended core size
Installing adhesive and antifog at desired stations
Installing specific sleeve for glue and antifog according to work order
Preparing materials that coincide with the production schedule and work order
Keeping track of raw materials at the plant for production so machines do not run out
Entering measurements and quality check specifications in production workbook
Working with other departments to provide detailed information for the lamination process
Making safety number one priority

Required

Must be detail conscious, quality control and safe production oriented
Basic Computer skills for data entry and training purposes
Must be able to flex hours to support multi-shift operation
Handle adhesives and other food grade chemicals that require PPE
Transporting of raw materials and finished materials using a forklift
Working in a non-climate-controlled facility
Exposed to regulated hazardous and flammable chemicals
Requires physical strain such as walking and standing for long periods of times in the production facility
Occasional lifting of cores and shafts
Other physical demands such as climbing ladders, crouching and reaching
