Responsibilities
Serve as HR point of contact for assigned business units
Partner with leaders to provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, coaching, and disciplinary actions
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues and conduct investigations
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
Analyze trends and metrics to develop HR programs, solutions, and policies
Support workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational changes
Identify training and development needs and support program effectiveness
Provide day-to-day guidance to HR Generalist staff
Qualification
Required
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business or related field and 8 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration
Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, compensation, benefits, administration, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws
SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential or ability to obtain certification within one year of employment required
