Responsibilities
Produce monthly monitoring and tracking (MT) reports for strategy performance, including related analysis
Develop and maintain advanced SAS queries to extract and manipulate data from multiple sources (e.g., Teradata, ReportNet, Oracle)
Build new SAS or SQL programs for strategy validation and QA testing; identify opportunities to enhance existing validations through improved code
Complete daily validation campaigns prior to strategy execution
Design and execute test plans, requirement traceability matrices, and test scripts based on business requirements
Communicate defects clearly to partners to mitigate risk before campaign deployment or Strategy Decision Engine implementation
Partner with strategy execution analytics teams to support QA testing and Decision Strategy Governance assessments
Qualification
Required
5-10 years of experience in SAS Data Analytics, Strategy Validation Analyst, and Credit Risk Analyst
Produce monthly monitoring and tracking (MT) reports for strategy performance, including related analysis
Develop and maintain advanced SAS queries to extract and manipulate data from multiple sources (e.g., Teradata, ReportNet, Oracle)
Build new SAS or SQL programs for strategy validation and QA testing; identify opportunities to enhance existing validations through improved code
Complete daily validation campaigns prior to strategy execution
Design and execute test plans, requirement traceability matrices, and test scripts based on business requirements
Communicate defects clearly to partners to mitigate risk before campaign deployment or Strategy Decision Engine implementation
Partner with strategy execution analytics teams to support QA testing and Decision Strategy Governance assessments
Minimum 4 years of experience demonstrating strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail
Comes from financial services background
Advanced proficiency in SAS, including data manipulation, macro programming, and statistical analysis
Experience working with large datasets and the associated analytical tools
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office applications
Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while meeting production standards and SLAs
Outstanding organizational and project management capabilities
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across multiple functional areas
Demonstrated strength in analytical reasoning and problem solving
