Responsibilities
Conduct patient assessments, obtain vital signs, review medical histories, and prepare patients for provider evaluation across a variety of primary and internal medicine visits
Administer immunizations, medications, and treatments as ordered, and assist with in-clinic procedures following established protocols and safety standards
Provide patient education on chronic disease management, preventive health, medications, and follow-up instructions to support improved self-care and long-term wellness
Document assessments, interventions, and communications accurately and promptly within the electronic health record
Maintain exam room readiness, manage clinical supplies, and follow infection-prevention and safety procedures to support smooth clinic operations
Coordinate diagnostic testing, referrals, and care transitions in collaboration with providers, ancillary services, and satellite clinic locations
Qualification
Required
Registered Nurse (RN) license
Experience in outpatient clinic settings
Ability to perform patient assessments and obtain vital signs
Knowledge of chronic disease management and preventive health
Experience with electronic health records documentation
Ability to administer immunizations, medications, and treatments
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Understanding of infection-prevention and safety procedures
Preferred
Experience in internal medicine or family medicine
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
Experience with patient education and self-care management
