Responsibilities

Pharmacy Intern performs the technical aspects of medication preparation, distribution, record keeping and inventory control under the direct supervision of a pharmacist
Tasks are subject to sequential or final verification by a registered pharmacist
His/her duties involve a variety of work, performed under standard operating procedures including direct patient interaction, patient counseling and medication reconciliation
Work involves mental and visual attention, accuracy and moderate pressure while working at a rapid pace under frequent deadlines and frequent interruptions and distractions

Required

Presently enrolled in Pharmacy College and completed at least the fourth year
Active NYS Intern Permit
