Responsibilities
Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair Construction Tech (eg. machine control and guidance systems, tiltrotators) on heavy construction equipment
Work independently and in teams to ensure machines operate smoothly on job sites
Maximize clients' uptime by diagnosing and resolving technical issues with Xpanner's cutting-edge automation systems
Provide hands-on support and training to operators, making sure they get the best out of our solutions
Run regular diagnostics to keep machines running at peak performance, always keeping safety top-of-mind
Share observations and issues with team to collectively resolve difficult problems
Communicate and catalog detailed records of service visits
Work closely with internal teams to continuously enhance equipment performance and user experience
Follow safety protocols at all times while working on job sites
Under the supervision of the Product Support Manager, lead and mentor a focused team of 3-5 employees
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in mechanics, hydraulics, electronics, or related fields are a plus
Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic troubleshooting skills—you know how to fix problems when they arise
Hands-on experience working with heavy machinery or similar equipment
At least 3-5 years of management experience
Good communication skills—you'll be interacting with operators and clients regularly
Ability to work independently and with teams in different environments and remote locations
Willing to travel frequently across the U.S. (up to 80%) with trips lasting 1-2 weeks at a time
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Preferred
Practical experience with machine control systems, construction tech, automation, or robotics preferred but not required
