InternNTH Consultants, Ltd. is seeking an Environmental Engineering Intern to assist in various environmental permitting and compliance activities. The role involves working on permit applications, conducting field work, and supporting the development of civil design site plan drawings.

Responsibilities
Assist in conducting various environmental permitting and compliance such as air/water discharge permits and due diligence activities (Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), Hazardous Material Surveys (HMS), and building demolition oversight)
Assist in the development of civil design site plan drawings and support with permit submittals
Duties will include working on permit applications, reviewing local and state ordinances and design requirements, assisting in preparation of design drawings in Civil 3D, and field work (such as collecting samples) with preparation of daily field reports
Qualification
Required
Minimum of high school diploma
Must be working on a degree in Engineering, preferably Civil, Environmental, or Chemical (or related) discipline
Be willing and able to work on construction sites and along freeway right-of-way while performing review activities. (Proper safety training will be provided)
Must have strong written and oral communication skills
Be able to work in a team environment as well as independently, demonstrated team-oriented approach to problem-solving, and have strong interpersonal skills
Accuracy, dependability, and time management skills to manage multiple assignments at any given time
Must be able to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 45 lbs
Must hold a valid driver's license and vehicle insurance, have reliable transportation, and be willing to travel to and conduct field work at various job sites
Authorized to work full-time in the U.S.A
