Responsibilities
Core Logic Development Design and code enhancements for the IBS Core DDA Savings and Loans modules ensuring high performance and data integrity
API Integration Develop and expose core banking functions via FIS Code Connect using RESTful APIs to support digital banking and thirdparty integrations
Batch Realtime Optimization Monitor and tune highvolume batch processing and realtime transaction flows to meet strict LFI Service Level Agreements SLAs
Technical Analysis Conduct deepdive analysis of complex System of Record issues identifying root causes across integrated modules eg how a deposit affects the General Ledger
Modernization Projects Support the migration of legacy monolithic functions into modern microservicesbased components using Java and Spring Boot
Compliance Security Ensure all code adheres to the stringent security and regulatory standards PCIDSS SOC2 AML required by global financial institution
Alignment Implement technical controls and audit logging required for LFIspecific compliance eg CCAR reporting AML data feeds
Qualification
Required
Strong Java J2EE/Spring Boot and familiarity with Mainframe languages (COBOL/CICS or C)
Advanced SQL (Oracle or DB2) ability to handle massive datasets and complex joins
Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, IBM MQ, and Kafka
Comfort moving between Linux/Unix environments and Mainframe (z/OS)
Proficiency with Git, Jenkins, Maven, and Jira
