Responsibilities

Coordinates the overall educational and learning facets of the Residential Life program serving an on-campus co-educational population of 6,000+ students

Provides direction for student learning and the promotion of partnerships and initiatives supporting the academic success of residents

Responsible for overseeing the residential life specialty staff positions, student leadership groups, and the living-learning programs

Serves as part of a crisis duty rotation and needs to reside within a 20 minute driving distance to campus

Attend Regional and National conferences to remain updated on the latest techniques and programs in residence hall living

Residential life programsStudent organizational advisingBachelor's in Student AffairsProgram developmentMaster's in Higher EducationExperience in student care

Required

Bachelor's Student Affairs, Higher Education, College Student Development/Personnel, or related fields. (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)

Three years of experience in residence halls, administrative experience, or other student affairs areas. Experience in student organizational advising

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge: Experience in residential life programs, working with student groups and program development

Must be able to occasionally lift and carry office supplies, files, or packages weighing up to 25 pounds

Preferred

Master's College Student Development/Personnel, Higher Education or related field

Two years of experience in residence halls and student care/support
