The IT intern will support the IT team by enhancing the accuracy, reliability, and security of SERC's IT environment, primarily focusing on updating the Asset Inventory & Configuration Management Database.

Responsibilities
Assist with Asset management
Collect and correlate data from multiple sources to update the Configuration Management Database
Learn to use Service Desk for endpoint and asset management
Make recommendations for process and documentation improvement
Learn why asset management is the cornerstone to vulnerability management
Learn from and work with a seasoned team of IT Professionals
Maintain the integrity of documentation regarding asset management
Assist in the support of day-to-day operations
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a college or university program and working towards a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
Working knowledge of operating systems
Working knowledge of General Information technology concepts
Critical Thinking, problem solving skills, and good communication skills
Creative approach to tasks with the initiative to complete complex projects
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Insatiable desire to learn
