Responsibilities
Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with departmental protocols, safety standards, and age-specific criteria
Prepare, position, and educate patients to ensure accurate imaging and a positive patient experience
Serve as a customer service representative to patients, families, physicians, and other clinical staff
Participate in quality control, performance improvement, and organizational improvement initiatives
Act as a clinical and technical resource to other technologists and radiologists
Maintain equipment functionality and report any issues promptly
Participate in call rotations to support departmental staffing needs
Qualification
Required
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
California Radiologic Technologist license (upon hire)
BLS (upon hire)
ARRT in Radiography (upon hire)
ARRT in Computed Tomography within 1 year of hire
Preferred
2 years of experience performing CT scans in a hospital or outpatient imaging setting
Experience with both adult and pediatric CT imaging
