Responsibilities

Provide high-quality customer service in the Advising and Career Exploration Center within University College, ensuring professional, friendly, and positive interactions with students and visitors
Oversee front desk operations, including greeting students and visitors, answering phone calls, addressing inquiries, and directing or referring individuals to appropriate staff members when necessary
Serve as a resource for information regarding Career Exploration Team policies and procedures, including assisting with scheduling appointments, referring students to walk-in hours, scheduling alumni appointments, and coordinating workshops
Manage the Career Counseling email account, ensuring timely responses and directing inquiries to the appropriate counselor
Set up Career Events in Proflink, Rowan Announcers and assist with on-site tasks during career fairs
Reserve spaces using 25 Live as needed
As required, participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and individual meetings with supervisors
Provide support to office staff on projects and clerical tasks as needed
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors

Required

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to provide professional, friendly, and positive customer service to students and visitors
Proficiency in managing front desk operations, including answering calls, addressing inquiries, and directing individuals appropriately
Excellent organizational skills to maintain and update office resources, calendars, communications and events
Flexibility to perform additional duties as assigned and adapt to evolving departmental needs
Proficiency with standard office software and platforms (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, email, scheduling tools)
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US, and the university will not sponsor an applicant for a work visa for this position

Preferred

Previous experience in a customer service or administrative support role is preferred
