Responsibilities

Collaborate with subject matter experts to design, develop, and deliver AIAN-specific training experiences, materials, manuals, and resources
Coordinate the development and delivery of online and in-person trainings, workshops, webinars, and other educational tools
Ensure that all training elements, content, and materials are high-quality, up-to-date, and align with the CoE's mission, vision, and training philosophy
Continuously monitor and update training content to maintain accuracy, quality, and relevance
Identify and engage with behavioral health providers to spotlight promising practices they are implementing in communities around the country. Coordinate with the CoE's Media Communications Specialist to design engaging multi-media products to showcase this work
Identify and collaborate with partners to develop and offer workforce development services and/or programs
Conduct outreach with organizations to identify behavioral health training needs
Identify, form relationships with, and onboard a network of training consultants that can partner with the 7 Generations CoE to provide high quality, engaging training presentations
Serve as the primary point of contract for training and technical assistance inquiries
Work closely with National Steering Council, Healers Circle, and other CoE team members to ensure alignment and integration of training initiatives with other CoE activities and overall goals
Foster relationships with external partners, stakeholders, and training providers to enhance the quality and reach of the training programs
Represent the CoE at national and regional events. This may include serving as an exhibitor, participating in networking activities, giving large- or small-scale presentations, and other types of engagements
Manage the activities of the CoE's professional network including but not limited to building and maintaining the network and facilitating opportunities for member engagement
Process technical assistance requests and refer appropriately
Provide technical assistance to behavioral health providers to support the effective implementation of learned skills and practices
Plan, organize, and execute training events, including scheduling, venue selection, logistics, and marketing
Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and other external partners to ensure smooth delivery of training programs
Manage registration, attendance tracking, and distribution of materials for training sessions
Cooperate with the 7 Generations CoE's evaluation team to carry out evaluation activities including data collection, analysis, and reporting as needed
Coordinate with accrediting agencies to ensure training materials meet requirements for continuing education for providers

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required
Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to drive according to the University Fleet Safety Policy
Ability to travel on an airplane
Highly self-motivated and proactive
Collaborative team player with a strong sense of dedication
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Demonstrated understanding of issues relevant to the assigned area
Familiar with organizational policies, procedures, and best practices
Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
