They are seeking a Software Asset Management Intern to help track and organize software licenses and subscriptions, supporting various program teams and enhancing operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
Help track software licenses and subscriptions using tracking tools (like Maximo/Teams)
Keep software inventory records organized and up to date
Assist with creating reports on software usage and compliance
Support the software request process and help answer questions from employees
Help with purchasing activities like communicating with vendors and preparing purchase orders
Attend team meetings and learn about software management best practices
Work with different teams to understand how software is used across the organization
Qualification
Required
Candidates should demonstrate a thorough understanding of business principles
Administration Interns must be enrolled in an accredited degree program with a preference in a related field
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire
Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Good communication skills and willingness to learn
Ability to manage multiple tasks and ask questions when needed
Interest in technology, software management, or IT operations
