They are seeking a personable and organized Part-Time Gallery Sales Associate & Marketing Support to assist with daily operations and marketing efforts, engaging with visitors and promoting the gallery's creative work.

Responsibilities
Greet and engage visitors, providing a warm and knowledgeable gallery experience
Share information about the artist, artworks, exhibitions, and community initiatives
Assist with art sales, client inquiries, and follow-up communications
Operate the point-of-sale system and process transactions accurately
Assist with professional art handling and fulfillment of in-person and ecommerce orders, including preparation, packaging, and coordination of artwork for clients
Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing gallery space
Support gallery events, openings, and special receptions
Assist with inventory tracking and basic administrative tasks as needed
Assist with social media posting, scheduling, and engagement
Support copywriting for social media, email newsletters, and website updates
Help execute digital marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives
Assist with public relations efforts, including drafting announcements and supporting outreach for exhibitions, launches, and events
Support brand consistency across marketing and communication channels
Qualification
Required
Strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills
Genuine interest in art, design, or creative industries
Comfort with social media, digital content, and basic marketing tools (or eagerness to learn)
Professional, dependable, detail-oriented, and organized
Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
Basic computer and POS system proficiency
Preferred
Previous experience in sales, hospitality, gallery, or customer-facing roles
