Assistant or Associate Professor - Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (EUH)

The Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery is seeking a qualified, full-time plastic surgeon to join its faculty, focusing on clinical responsibilities in plastic and reconstructive surgery, education, and participation in departmental activities.

Responsibilities
Serve as a 1.0 clinical attending plastic and reconstructive surgeon at The Emory Clinic and other sites that may be deemed necessary by the Section Chief over time for the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
Participate in Surgery's education programs and teach fellows, residents and students
Participate in night and weekend call coverage
Participate in the education of medical students, residents and fellows and other rotators through the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery service
Participate in committees, present cases in the Divisions case conferences, manage patient workups and procedures according department guidelines, and adopt any tools and/or technologies deemed part of the Division
Qualification
Required
A valid, unrestricted medical license to practice medicine in the State of Georgia
A controlled Substance Registration Drug Enforcement Administration Certificate
A doctoral degree from an accredited school
Successful completion of an accredited residency program
Board certification or eligibility in the area of specialization
Completion of a Fellowship, either clinical or research, in an area related to the field of specialization
Demonstrate legal status permitting him/her to work under applicable United States immigration laws
