Responsibilities
Produce accurate and high-quality CAD models and drawings using Creo
Collaborate effectively with engineers, manufacturing teams, and suppliers
Ensure designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and meet requirements
Maintain documentation and BOMs accurately in Team Center and release ECOs as needed
Address design issues proactively and support product improvements
Apply engineering principles to confirm designs are ready for FEA and production
Adapt to multiple product types (tanks, panels, harness brackets, plumbing systems)
Qualification
Required
4+ years creating and modifying CAD models
Proficiency in Creo
Ability to perform simple design calculations to support FEA readiness
Ability to conduct design reviews, create 3D models, 2D drawings, and assemblies
Ability to create BOMs, release ECOs, and maintain Team Center records
Experience with various components such as rotomolded tanks, hood/ accent panels, harness brackets, and plumbing or mechanical systems
Ability to address issue corrections, clean-ups, and design improvements
Ability to work effectively with engineers, manufacturing teams, and suppliers
4 to 7 years of CAD design experience, specifically creating and modifying 3D models and 2D drawings
Hands-on experience with Creo CAD software
Experience with design calculations to ensure concepts are ready for FEA (Finite Element Analysis)
Experience creating and maintaining BOMs and releasing ECOs in a PLM system like Team Center
Experience working on diverse components such as rotomolded tanks, hood and accent panels, electrical harness brackets, and liquid plumbing or mechanical structures
Experience participating in design reviews and effectively communicating how designs meet requirements
Experience addressing design corrections and issue resolution from prototype or mule builds
