Senior Project Manager

They are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a major construction program in the West Region, guiding a team through all phases of project delivery while ensuring financial, schedule, safety, and quality targets are met.

Responsibilities

Oversee the entire project lifecycle, including planning, execution, and closeout
Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and timelines
Monitor progress and proactively address delays or risks
Coordinate with internal teams, architects, engineers, and external partners
Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations
Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders
Manage change orders and oversee project closeout, including punch lists and final inspections

Required

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience)
8+ years of progressive experience in construction project management, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead project management role
Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-site, or program-level construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, cost controls, contract administration, and risk management
Experience working in retail, Quick Service Restaurant (QSR), or commercial construction environments required
Demonstrated ability to manage complex budgets, schedules, and multiple stakeholders simultaneously
Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills, with the ability to mentor and develop project teams
Proficiency in project management and construction software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools)
Solid understanding of safety regulations, building codes, and quality control standards
Strong negotiation skills with subcontractors, vendors, and consultants
Ability to travel as required to project sites across the West Region
Valid driver's license and ability to meet company vehicle requirements

Preferred

Professional certifications such as PMP, CCM, or similar are a plus
