Responsibilities
Prepare and process shipping documents including packing slips, shipping labels, bills of lading
Coordinate daily outbound shipments with warehouse forwarding teams and transportation carriers
Ensure accurate and timely entry of shipping data into Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and SharePoint
Verify shipment contents and packaging accuracy prior to dispatch
Schedule pickups
Track outgoing shipments and provide delivery status updates to relevant teams or customers
Resolve shipping discrepancies or delays with internal departments
Maintain accurate records of all shipping activities for audit and compliance purposes
Support the warehouse team with other administrative tasks as needed
Assist in generating reports related to shipping performance, freight costs, and on-time delivery metrics
Qualification
Required
Prior experience in a shipping or warehouse administrative role, preferably in a distribution or logistics environment
Proficiency with WMS
Strong data entry and organizational skills with attention to detail
Effective communication and coordination skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
High school diploma or equivalent (logistics or supply chain coursework is a plus)
Preferred
Experience with Excel
Experience in a high-volume distribution center or e-commerce environment
