Responsibilities

Participate in the electrical design efforts for the F-16 and F-22 lines of business
Perform electrical design activities for the installation of flight test instrumentation electrical components to fulfill system design block diagrams of instrumentation systems
Develop, understand and release engineering drawings
Create technical designs using CATIA
Select and understand electrical components
Create work instructions
Monitor fabrication activities
Provide liaison support with the fabrication shop and test sites
Provide mod support
Communicate and coordinate with flight test instrumentation system designers and mechanical designers, mechanics and fabrication specialists, production engineering groups, and procurement to carry out the creation and installation of their designs

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or related discipline
Experience with CATIA V5, Solidworks, or similar CAD software
Experience with reading and interpreting electrical schematics
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access
This position requires a government security clearance

Preferred

Experience with flight test instrumentation electrical design
Experience with electrical design in an aerospace environment
Experience with digital/analog circuits, RF applications, digital/analog video, data recording/storage (Chapter 10), sensors applications
Familiar with sensor technology utilized in the test of aircraft structures (loads and vibration) and vehicle subsystems (environmental control systems, flight controls, propulsion, and aerodynamics)
Familiar with fighter aircraft technical data, maintenance practices, flight operations, and weapons
Strong communication, leadership, and people skills with the ability to work in an engineering and technician team environment
