The role involves application development using .NET, MS SQL database support, and managing Azure-based applications while ensuring compliance with IT standards and providing technical guidance.

Responsibilities
Provide .NET application development and support , including designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting FWC enterprise applications
Provide MS SQL database application support , including data design/modeling, development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing support
Develop and maintain SQL stored procedures, functions, and views
Perform configuration and source control management using Azure DevOps and GitHub
Develop, deploy, and support Azure-based applications , including App Services, Azure Functions, Web Apps, and APIs
Manage Azure storage services , including Blob, File, Queue, and Table Storage
Build and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, deployments, and release management
Perform change management and code promotion activities in collaboration with development teams
Provide systems analysis to implement business-defined requirements and identify operational efficiencies
Facilitate requirements gathering with business program staff and stakeholders
Produce effort estimates , implementation plans, and status reports for assigned work
Perform system, integration, and regression testing to ensure solutions meet user-defined requirements
Facilitate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders
Maintain technical documentation , including architecture diagrams, design specifications, data dictionaries, and user guides
Track and report hours worked by task and provide regular progress updates
Serve as a technical consultant to FWC staff and provide ongoing technical guidance
Ensure compliance with FWC IT standards, agency policies, and security requirements
Provide technical training and knowledge transfer to Office of Information Technology support staff as needed
Qualification
Required
.NET application development and support experience, including designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting FWC enterprise applications
MS SQL database application support experience, including data design/modeling, development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing support
Experience developing and maintaining SQL stored procedures, functions, and views
Experience performing configuration and source control management using Azure DevOps and GitHub
Experience developing, deploying, and supporting Azure-based applications, including App Services, Azure Functions, Web Apps, and APIs
Experience managing Azure storage services, including Blob, File, Queue, and Table Storage
Experience building and maintaining Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, deployments, and release management

7+ years of .NET development experience, including C#
7+ years of experience supporting enterprise-level applications
7+ years of experience performing systems analysis to implement user-defined requirements
7+ years of experience identifying and implementing operational efficiencies
7+ years of experience gathering requirements with business stakeholders
7+ years of experience producing work estimates and implementation plans
7+ years of experience testing system changes and facilitating UAT
7+ years of experience with configuration management using Azure DevOps and GitHub
7+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2019 or newer), Azure SQL Database, and Azure SQL Managed Instance
7+ years of experience with database design, modeling, development, and support
7+ years of experience developing SQL stored procedures, functions, and views
7+ years of experience with change management best practices, including serving in a code promotion role in partnership with development teams
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
