This internship offers hands-on exposure to quality assurance and food safety processes, where the successful candidate will support quality control activities and gain practical experience in maintaining high standards for chocolate products.

Responsibilities
Conduct daily microbiological testing on product made in the factory
Swab the environment for monitoring microbiological activity
Enter sensory and microbiological data into excel and SAP
Manage retains of samples tested, organization by date and disposal when needed
Responsible for inventory of supplies
Send out equipment for calibration and repair as needed
Qualification
Required
High School Graduate or G.E.D. and working towards a degree in a science field
Dependability, a solid work history and a proven track record of safe work habits
Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and writing)
Communicates effectively with employees of all levels, as well as outside agencies
Analytical Skills - Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem
Working Under Pressure - Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations
Ability to walk and move freely and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds (Bulk items may be heavy)
Experience in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, Internet
