Responsibilities

Translate business needs and operational objectives into clear functional and technical requirements
Own the end-to-end solution design across Nimble systems, customer systems, and third-party platforms, including data models, mapping, API workflows, and secure integration patterns
Lead customer-facing design sessions and explain constraints, tradeoffs, and recommended approaches in a way that is easy to understand
Communicate architectural decisions and rationale to both technical and non-technical audiences
Serve as the technical architect for integrations, including schema translation, partner profile design, and secure data transport using HTTPS, SFTP, or AS2
Drive high-confidence level-of-effort estimates and help customers understand scope boundaries, dependencies, and delivery risks
Own and perform SIT (system integration testing) and UAT (user acceptance testing), issue resolution, and overall readiness for go-live
Build strong, trust-based relationships with customer stakeholders across technical, operational, and leadership levels
Guide customers through tradeoffs, timelines, scope decisions, and integration constraints
Push back respectfully and professionally when requirements conflict with technical best practices or timelines
Deliver clear, concise, and proactive communication to eliminate ambiguity and maintain alignment
Present complex technical solutions and designs during customer meetings, design reviews, and escalations in a way that is clear and understandable for the audience
Successfully translate and communicate complex technical solutions/designs to the customer
Partner with project managers on scope management, risk mitigation, and change control
Work closely with engineering and product teams to deploy capabilities and validate solution readiness
Translate customer needs into structured requirements, technical specifications, and solution documents that are easily digestible by the engineering/technical team
Validate system, data, and workflow readiness before customer launch
Travel onsite for go-live to support operations and serve as the primary point of contact for the customer
Participate in on-call support during hypercare
Provide consistent and accurate status updates for all assigned projects
Train the steady state customer support (CS) team on customer requirements and needs before go-live
Identify recurring issues, workflow gaps, or friction points across customer implementations and propose enhancements to product features, integration patterns, and operational workflows
Lead the development of reusable assets, templates, and best practices that elevate the quality, consistency, and scalability of future implementations
Partner with product, engineering, and operations teams to help shape roadmap decisions and strengthen end-to-end solutions delivery
Serve as the technical escalation point for complex integrations, delivery risks, and customer executive stakeholder concerns
Lead architecture reviews and set standards for reusable integration patterns, templates, and implementation best practices across the Solutions Delivery team
Mentor other Solutions Architects through design reviews, coaching, and enablement to raise overall team quality and consistency
Partner with Product and Engineering to influence roadmap priorities based on recurring implementation needs and strategic customer requirements
Own technical discovery for complex and strategic opportunities, partnering with Sales and cross-functional stakeholders to define integration scope, risks, dependencies, and recommended approach
Deliver executive-ready sales presentations, technical deep dives, and solution walkthroughs that clearly communicate Nimble’s value, integration patterns, and implementation plan
Drive high-confidence level-of-effort estimates and implementation plans by aligning stakeholders on scope boundaries, sequencing, assumptions, and delivery risks
Lead responses to RFP/RFI requests, security/integration questionnaires, and architectural reviews, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency
Establish strong pre-to-post contract continuity by documenting proposed architecture, assumptions, risks, and recommended delivery plan; ensure a crisp handoff into implementation with minimal re-discovery
Mentor and support other Solutions Architects in pre-sales execution (discovery, presentations, scoping), raising the quality and consistency of technical selling across the team

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or a related technical or analytical field
5+ years of experience in solution delivery, technical consulting, or systems integration
5+ of experience working with supply chain, warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics technology. ERP, WMS, OMS, TMS, or 3PL and 4PL experience is preferred
Experience with API-based integrations (REST or GraphQL), file-based integrations (SFTP, CSV, or EDI), or AS2 and S/MIME workflows
Familiarity with enterprise or SaaS implementation methodologies
Experience with EDI or X12 transformation or schema mapping
Experience with iPaaS platforms such as Boomi, MuleSoft, or Workato, or with ETL and data flow systems
Exceptional client-facing communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts and guide customers through technical decisions
Experience leading pre-contract technical discovery, solution scoping, and customer-facing sales presentations for complex implementations
Demonstrated ability to lead complex enterprise implementations with multiple systems, workstreams, and senior stakeholders
Strong executive presence, including the ability to present, defend, and negotiate technical tradeoffs with VP/C-level audiences
Experience mentoring or leading other Solutions Architects through design reviews and delivery execution
Strong expectation-setting skills, including the ability to balance customer needs with feasibility, timelines, and best practices
Confidence in pushing back when requirements compromise solution quality or exceed scope
Ability to facilitate productive discussions with both business and technical stakeholders
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to identify patterns, solve integration issues, and design structured workflows
High-quality documentation skills for requirements, workflows, and technical architecture
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Self-driven with strong ownership and follow-through

Preferred

Exposure to robotics, automation, or warehouse operations
Experience implementing top-tier supply chain software systems such as Manhattan Associates, Oracle, or Blue Yonder
Experience working in a fast-paced startup or operations environment
