Responsibilities

Join the Environmental Law practice group as a non-partnership track Senior Attorney
Engage in compliance counseling, enforcement defense, litigation, permitting, and other regulatory authorizations
Work on precedent setting legal matters with direct client contact
Collaborate with a diverse team and participate in mentoring and training
Handle interesting, long-term projects with established clients

Required

At least six years of experience practicing environmental law in the context of compliance counseling, enforcement defense, litigation, permitting and other regulatory authorizations, or agency rulemaking
Particular experience working in private practice, a trade association, and/or a government agency

Excellent written and oral communication skills
District of Columbia bar membership required within one year of joining the firm
