Responsibilities
Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to define clear, actionable acceptance criteria for all platform deliverables and document them thoroughly
Act as the primary point of contact for the MIAM development team, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical capabilities
Document and communicate project timelines, updates, risks, and dependencies using Jira and other collaboration tools
Lead, manage, or coordinate activities required for completion and documentation of business requirements
Validate metrics in alignment with Agile methodology and Enterprise controls
Own and maintain a prioritized Agile product backlog, including:
Well-defined user stories
Clear acceptance criteria
Stories that are consumable and testable by Agile teams
Prepare the business for change by providing tactics and metrics for benefits realization, adoption, and risk management
Serve as proxy Scrum Lead during stand-ups when the primary lead is unavailable
Drive Agile best practices, including:
Sprint planning
Backlog refinement
Story and feature demos
Retrospectives
Maintain at least two sprints’ worth of refined stories for a healthy backlog
Review and accept or reject development deliverables based on defined acceptance criteria
Collaborate with MIAM DPOs to enable efficient and consistent delivery practices
Proactively escalate delivery risks, blockers, and dependencies
Ensure the Authentication and Identity platform adheres to:
Industry standards
Regulatory requirements
USAA security policies
Monitor platform performance metrics and user feedback to identify improvement opportunities
Partner with business process owners to develop and track metrics for:
Benefits realization
Adoption
Operational risk
Drive prioritization initiatives to:
Mature Identity and Authentication capabilities
Reduce latency
Enhance overall user satisfaction
Identify and mitigate risks related to:
Platform dependencies
Technical debt
Resource constraints
Manage deliverables based on prioritized assignments and project plans
Qualification
Required
Strong IAM domain knowledge (Authentication)
Ability to write API and UX user stories
Cyber Security – IAM Professional Services
Cyber Insurance exposure
Strong communication skills for managing a technical backlog (2+ years)
Jira
Basic Java knowledge
