Responsibilities
Own and execute Functional Safety verification for semiconductor IP blocks, CPUs, and SoCs in compliance with ISO 26262 (ASIL-D)
Define and implement FuSa verification strategies and test plans aligned with hardware safety requirements and safety goals
Develop UVM/SystemVerilog-based verification environments to validate safety mechanisms and diagnostic features
Collaborate with RTL, architecture, physical design, validation, and safety teams across the semiconductor development lifecycle
Generate and review FuSa verification deliverables to support safety case and audits (e.g., verification reports, coverage summaries)
Support third-party safety assessments and audits by providing technical evidence and analysis
Mentor junior DV engineers on FuSa concepts, semiconductor safety architectures, and verification best practices
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in semiconductor Design Verification, with 3+ years focused on Functional Safety
Strong working knowledge of ISO 26262 (hardware development and verification)
Hands-on experience with fault injection and fault simulation tools such as VC Z01X and/or Tessent Safety
Expert proficiency in SystemVerilog and UVM, particularly for safety requirement validation
Solid understanding of CPU architectures, SoC interconnects, and safety-critical IPs
Experience verifying automotive-grade semiconductor designs
