Responsibilities

Lead the identification and development of AI use cases, including generative AI, machine learning, and decision-support systems
Advise on model selection, prompt design, evaluation methods, and lifecycle management
Assess AI solutions for performance, risks, limitations, and ethical considerations
Translate complex AI concepts into clear, actionable guidance for non-technical stakeholders
Provide technical oversight and thought leadership for AI initiatives
Support the development and enforcement of governance, documentation, and standards for responsible AI use

Required

Active DoD Secret clearance
5+ years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas: Applied AI/machine learning, Data science or advanced analytics, AI product development or AI strategy
At least 2–3 years of direct experience with AI/ML systems, including generative AI
Strong understanding of AI concepts, including model behavior, training vs. inference, prompt engineering, evaluation, and common failure modes
Experience designing or advising on real-world AI use cases
Ability to clearly explain AI concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience evaluating the risks and limitations of AI systems

Preferred

Experience with cloud AI platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
Familiarity with DevOps or MLOps concepts (CI/CD, model deployment, monitoring)
Exposure to containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
Understanding of data pipelines, ETL, and APIs
Awareness of cybersecurity considerations for AI systems
Experience working in regulated or high-security environments
