Product Service Engineer 3
EPITEC is seeking a Product Service Engineer to support advanced mining and construction technology systems used globally. The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting new product launches, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective problem resolution.

Responsibilities
Diagnose, investigate, and resolve hardware and software issues for mining and construction technology systems
Provide hands-on technical expertise to analyze problems and implement corrective actions
Work on 24/7 incident management rotation to respond to urgent customer needs
Escalate high-priority issues to engineering teams when needed
Support new product rollouts by participating in development testing, field trials, and field-follow activities
Complete assigned NPI deliverables and ensure products are functioning effectively in real-world environments
Communicate with customers and dealers on issue status, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions
Advocate on their behalf with product engineering teams to ensure technical issues are fully understood and addressed
Create and report improvement ideas, including feature enhancements and supportability recommendations
Process CPI/CER tickets and defect reports to appropriate engineering owners
Help maintain a strong support environment that improves diagnostics and connectivity
Work closely with global support analysts located in the U.S., Australia, India, and Brazil
Partner with engineering, implementation teams, and product development groups to ensure seamless issue resolution and product performance
Occasionally travel to mining or job sites (open-pit and underground) to support installations, troubleshooting, and system validation
Complete required safety training prior to entering field environments
Qualification
Required
5–7 years of technical experience in system troubleshooting or related engineering fields
BS degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Associate degree with 8–10 years of relevant hands-on troubleshooting experience or Master's degree with 3–5 years of relevant experience
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn complex systems quickly
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to form strong partnerships with internal teams and customers
Proficiency in Microsoft applications
Preferred
Experience with heavy-equipment technology systems
Knowledge of networking infrastructure or telematics
Azure DevOps experience
Familiarity with jobsite or mining technology
