Performs complex technical, analytical, and detail-oriented work relating to records of gaming operations to independently assess whether activity meets regulatory and internal policy criteria for possible Suspicious Activity Reporting to regulatory agency
Exercises judgment based on prior experience, training, and education. Gathers, interprets, and analyzes information from multiple systems, including but not limited to; Synkros, jackpot reporting systems, credit card advances, check cashing systems, electronic Multiple Transaction Logs, Monetary Instrument Log
Performs research using proprietary commercial databases (Clear) and open source (internet) and social media sites to obtain information relevant to a patron’s identification, occupation, residency, and pertinent flagged information found
Prepare comprehensive investigative summaries and compose Suspicious Activity reports for Compliance Management
Assist in development of standard auditing desk procedures and protocols
Work with leadership from multiple departments to ensure operational compliance with all Federal and Nevada regulatory requirements
Ensures Responsible Gaming materials are deployed for the property in compliance with Nevada regulatory requirements
Assist with the preparation and ensure timely and accurate submission of regulatory filings to Nevada Regulatory Authorities
Support the Compliance Department in compliance investigations
Assist with the monitoring and track delivery, completion, and efficacy of compliance related training
Qualification
Required
Responsible for completing day-to-day functions related to the Company's regulatory compliance obligations and initiatives
Assist in ensuring the Palms Resort & Casino is compliant with the Bank Secrecy Act and Patriot Act as they pertain to Casinos
Responsible for reviewing system generated alerts to provide a comprehensive analysis of reviewed activity
Performs required KYC and enhanced due diligence investigations for the company
