Responsibilities
Overseeing the entire supply chain function covering 4 food manufacturing plants
Managing procurement, inventory control, warehousing, and distribution to ensure efficient and compliant movement of raw materials and finished goods
Optimizing supply chain operations to meet production schedules, cost targets, and customer service levels
Leading a cross-functional team and collaborating with internal and external partners to support continuous improvement and business growth
Qualification
Required
BS degree
Minimum of 8 years progressive procurement/supply chain experience in a food manufacturing environment
In-depth knowledge of food manufacturing operations, perishable inventory management, and relevant regulatory compliance (USDA, FDA, FSMA)
Experience with ERP and MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and forecasting tools
Familiarity with TPM, lean manufacturing, or similar continuous improvement methodologies
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop effective solutions in a fast-paced environment
