Responsibilities
Adheres to GMP, safety, personnel and departmental policies as set forth by Standard Operating Procedures and personnel Manual
Assembles, packages, inspects and inventories all products and/or components as prescribed by the supervisor per operation Process Specifications
Maintains and accurately records all pertinent information necessary on time sheets, control forms, move tickets, etc
Reports any unusual occurrences that may affect the quality, form, fit or function of any products and/or components associated with the Production Department
Assures that all cleaning and/or sanitizing of the workstation have been performed prior to production start-up
Maintains efficiency levels as defined by Industrial Engineering Standards
Maintains product/component segregation
Performs other related duties as required or requested by Production Management
Attends training sessions as directed
Helps train other production operators as directed
Conforms to new processes and procedures as directed
Qualification
Required
High School Degree or GED preferred
Ability to read and comprehend instructions
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to supervisor, production clerk and other employees of the organization
Ability to complete basic math calculations
Ability to apply common sense when carrying out instructions furnished in written or oral form
Ability to be a self-starter with the initiative to perform job responsibilities without direct supervision
Accuracy, completeness and attention to detail are essential
