Verveba Telecom is expanding its national data center delivery organization and is seeking an experienced Data Center Program Manager to lead complex, fast‑paced infrastructure programs for hyperscale clients. The Program Manager will oversee end‑to‑end delivery of large‑scale data center projects, ensuring compliance with hyperscaler standards and driving delivery in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end data center programs , including pre-construction planning, design coordination, construction execution, and commissioning support
Manage multiple workstreams across ISP/OSP, fiber backbone, structured cabling, pathways, and MEP coordination
Serve as the primary interface with hyperscale clients , GC’s, design teams, and specialty contractors
Review and manage construction schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and risk registers
Oversee technical execution of optical fiber systems (single-mode/multimode, testing, labeling, documentation)
Ensure compliance with hyperscaler standards, data center specifications, safety, and quality requirements
Provide leadership to field teams, vendors, and subcontractors to meet aggressive timelines
Drive issue resolution, progress reporting, and executive-level communication

Required

5+ years of experience in data center construction or program management
Proven experience working directly with hyperscalers (Meta, Google, AWS, Microsoft, etc.)
Strong background in pre-construction, construction, and delivery of mission-critical facilities
Strong understanding of construction contracts, schedules, and cost controls
Hands-on understanding of optical fiber, ISP/OSP, structured cabling, and pathway systems
Ability to manage multiple sites and programs simultaneously
Ability to lead cross-functional teams in high-pressure, fast-moving environments
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred

Experience with hyperscale design standards and QA/QC processes
Background in telecom, low-voltage, or network infrastructure
PMP or equivalent certification (preferred, not required)
Experience supporting commissioning, turnover, and as-built documentation
