Responsibilities
Review, update, and revise mechanical drawings and specifications
Create and modify 2D and 3D CAD drawings for fittings and fabricated components
Incorporate redlines, field changes, and production feedback into drawings
Support fabrication and manufacturing teams with accurate, production-ready documentation
Verify dimensions, tolerances, and basic fit-up for fabricated items
Maintain organized and up-to-date drawing files
Qualification
Required
Prior experience as a Mechanical Designer in a fabrication or manufacturing environment
Proficiency with CAD software (Gibbs and Mastercam)
Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
Experience with fittings, light industrial components, or basic fabrication assemblies
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, short-duration project
Preferred
Experience supporting short-term or contract-based projects
Familiarity with shop-floor fabrication processes
Local to the Cleveland area or open to short-term travel
