Vaccine Mixer - 1st shift

The role involves taking responsibility for the vaccination process of eggs, including operating equipment and monitoring performance, while also overseeing team members and maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities
Must understand and demonstrate ability to follow vaccine mixture protocol
Poses a working knowledge of metric system liquid measurements
Understand both Celsius and Fahrenheit temperatures measurements
Ability to keep and maintain an organized sanitary work environment
Capable of working with and mixing chlorine, alcohol, and other sanitizers
Poses an operational understanding of touch screen menu driven machinery
Function as a setup operator for injection machinery
Train, oversee, and instruct team members assigned to work with vaccines and /or transfer equipment
Calculate volumes of vaccines, dyes, and other solutions necessary to match scheduled production amounts
Maintain inventories and oversee storage requirements for vaccines
Record production data both manually and data base transferred from machinery to PC software
Ensure Bio-Security measures are maintained
Perform housekeeping duties as directed by hatchery supervision
Fill-in as needed to support hatchery labor
Take a proactive role in assuring safe, quality products are produced by immediately addressing any safety or quality concerns
Qualification
Required

Preferred
High school education preferred but not necessary
1-3 years' experience working in a hatchery preferred but not required
