Responsibilities
Perform general labor tasks related to asphalt paving, patching, concrete work, and surface preparation
Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and other equipment to spread, level, and finish asphalt or concrete
Assist with cleaning, maintaining, and organizing tools and equipment
Operate small power tools as needed for various jobsite tasks
Communicate with equipment operators to ensure safe and accurate placement of materials
Set up, move, and remove signs, barricades, cones, and other traffic control devices
Follow all OSHA regulations and always company safety policies
Maintain reliable and regular attendance
Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to support smooth jobsite operations
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years of construction experience, preferably in asphalt paving and/or concrete work
Familiarity with jobsite safety practices and construction tools
Ability to follow direction and work effectively as part of a crew
Strong work ethic, dependability, and commitment to safety
All candidates must be willing to complete a pre-employment assessment and drug screening
Preferred
While asphalt and concrete experience is preferred, candidates with a solid background in general construction who align with Keeley culture and demonstrate a strong work ethic will also be considered
