Responsibilities
Execute manufacturing controls projects from concept through launch
Design, integrate, install, and troubleshoot automation systems in GM plants
Develop and maintain PLC programs and electrical controls systems
Support equipment build, run-off, buyoff, and plant installation
Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support ongoing production issues
Qualification
Required
Controls engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
PLC programming using RSLogix / Logix 5000 (ladder logic)
EPLAN electrical design experience
Electrical controls hardware and software design & troubleshooting
Working knowledge of GM Controls Standards: GCCH, GCCS/GCCS2, GCCB
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience
Preferred
GM certification preferred, but hands-on GM project experience will be considered
