Media Planner

They are seeking a Media Planner who will collaborate with sales teams to develop and implement media plans, analyze campaign performance, and ensure effective communication across departments.

Responsibilities

Strategizing with sales colleagues to achieve negotiated client goals by creating customized National Unwired-Network Radio, Programmatic and multi-market Broadcast media proposals
Pulling and analyzing ratings and pricing data for building out media schedules
Inputting proposal details into submission recap charts and summarizing the key sales points of each proposal to iHeartMedia sales team members
Formatting and communicating the details of radio orders and revisions for Coordinators to input
Communicating with radio station personnel or Revenue Management about Order clearance, discrepancies and makegoods
Tracking and ensuring media deliveries, creating recap reports and executing campaign posts
Communicating with iHeartMedia Billing teams to approve invoice amounts based on posted media campaign
Keeping assigned account files organized and updated

Required

A minimum of 1-3 years of work experience in the media industry
Must have strong math skills and be comfortable analyzing data
Must be proficient in Excel and have strong PC/Microsoft Office skills
Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks concurrently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
Excellent organizational skills
Must be able to communicate comfortably in a professional setting
Must work well with others and be team-oriented in nature

Preferred

Respect for others and a strong belief that others should do this in return
Ability to work within prescribed guidelines without needing close supervision
Problem solving skills within established procedures
Understanding of when to seek guidance for unforeseen problems
Close attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to act in a professional manner and collaborate with colleagues of different levels
