New Grad, Entry LevelCollin County is seeking candidates for the position of Groundskeeper - Facilities. The role involves maintaining the exterior of facilities, including mowing lawns, trimming trees, and managing irrigation systems under the direction of the Facilities Technical Coordinator.

Responsibilities
Appling herbicides, pesticides, fertilizers and other chemicals
Installing and maintaining irrigation systems by making necessary repairs to electrical wiring and plumbing and programming digital controllers
Performing maintenance duties by operating heavy equipment including backhoes, front-end loaders, as well as tractor-mounted trenchers, tillers, and sprayers
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must have level of education equivalent to four years of high school
Must possess and maintain a valid Texas Class C Driver's License with an acceptable driving record
Candidates must be able to pass a post offer, pre-employment physical (POPP), a Functional Physical Capacity Assessment (FPCA), a drug screen, and a background check, when required
Must be able to pass physical fitness test to be eligible for hire
Preferred
Previous experience with various forms of lawn equipment such as weed-eaters
