Responsibilities

Perform filling and support production activities
Operate relevant department equipment in appropriate manner and in accordance with requirements
Ensure all equipment and facilities are maintained
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Maintain an environment of continuous improvement
Complete all associated documentation in compliance with requirements
Conduct Documentation Review
Demonstrate a firm understanding of aseptic technique and serve as a trainer and mentor to other technicians
Demonstrate strong foundation of mechanical knowledge and interface with the maintenance department for resolving equipment issues
Perform inventory transactions
Review and close batch tickets
Monitor Key Performance Indicators to strive for improved performance
Provide leadership to team mates, supporting the area supervisor
Communicate process needs and progress to colleagues and supervisor
Escalate events and concerns to supervisor
Demonstrate a visible & tangible commitment to HSE, Lean Principles, and the company Values in all work related activities
In addition to the above, other assigned duties & projects deemed appropriate within the position scope

Qualification

Required

High school diploma or equivalent and seven (7) years of related experience -OR- B.S. degree from an accredited institution, plus three (3) years of relevant experience
Basic computer skills - Excel, Word
Demonstrated team player
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Basic math skills
Strong mechanical skills, experience operating automated equipment, and mechanical troubleshooting skills
cGMP manufacturing knowledge
Aseptic filling knowledge
Product lifecycle knowledge and risks

Preferred

B.S. Biology or related field and four (4) years related experience preferred
Experience in Pharma/Bio cGMP preferred
