They are seeking a Systems Engineering Intern to engage in the development and verification of engineering solutions supporting battery pack systems, interfacing with various teams within American Battery Solutions.

Responsibilities
Complete a 12-week project presentation at the end of internship
Model system engineering battery tools, currently in excel, into Simulink / Simscape / Stateflow models (Mathworks) for use on current projects
Update system engineering architecture and behavioral diagrams in Sparx Enterprise Architect in accordance with the requirements in Jama Connect
Connect and refine the system models in accordance with the architecture and requirements
Demonstrate a Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) proof-of-concept, using architectural-based models in MathWorks to verify requirements via “analysis” (Controls, Electrical, Thermal, and/or Mechanical)
Report the progress of tasks on a regular basis
Adhere to federal and state regulations
Adhere to all company policies, processes, and procedures
Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
Predictable and reliable attendance
Qualification
Required
Undergraduate/graduate student working towards a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or other relevant degree
Must be able to work a minimum of 30 hours per week up to a maximum of 40 hours per week
Minimum of 3.0 GPA required to enter the program
Must be actively enrolled in school
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks
Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
