Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) & Facilities Manager
Kensington360 is a well-established manufacturing business seeking an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) & Facilities Manager to oversee EHS programs and manage daily facility operations. This dual-role position ensures regulatory compliance, sustains a safe work environment, and supports efficient production processes.
Responsibilities
Develop & implement EHS policies and procedures in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.)
Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and accident investigations; implement corrective actions
Lead training programs covering safety, hazardous materials handling, emergency preparedness, and environmental compliance
Investigate and document near-miss incidents and workers’ compensation cases, identifying root causes and corrective measures
Monitor air, water, and waste compliance, ensuring permits and reports are current; manage PPE programs, inspections, and emergency response plans
Oversee facilities maintenance and operations, including equipment, utilities, and vendor coordination
Plan and manage facility upgrades and renovations, including budgeting and vendor negotiations
Implement preventive maintenance schedules for equipment and facilities
Lead sustainability and waste-reduction initiatives —recycling, hazardous-waste programs, and energy-use reductions
Supervise and develop EHS/facilities team members and collaborate with production managers and external agencies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field
At least 3 years of experience in EHS or facilities management in a manufacturing environment
Proficiency in facility planning/ CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SketchUp, or similar)
Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations
Demonstrated project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and leadership abilities; ability to collaborate cross-functionally
Preferred
Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Facilities Management Professional (FMP), or similar certifications are a plus
