ES M&A Senior Integration Consultant

Responsibilities

Lead Data Management Workstreams, including managing large employee data sets with expertise in advanced Excel and Google Sheets (e.g., sorting, filtering, advanced formulas, and data analysis)
Develop strategic data project plans tailored to deal-specific requirements through analysis, interpretation, and collaboration
Provide critical operational and analytical support for ES integration activities and milestones, including due diligence tasks such as data room tracking, initial data analysis, and managing data requests from acquired leaders
Synthesize complex data sets into executive-level narratives that drive integration strategy
Create, maintain, and support standard and custom reports, queries, and metrics to offer actionable insights into acquired employee data
Assess trends and metrics related to acquired employee culture, satisfaction, and engagement, and collaborate with Deal Leads to propose actionable recommendations
Manage one or more concurrent deals or multiple integration tracks within larger transactions
Serve as the primary point of contact (POC) with ES Product and Business Technology partners to drive quarterly prioritization, long-range planning, and lead large-scale M&A transformation projects
Ensure hiring processes are efficient, compliant, and scalable, leveraging AI and ES agents where possible
Evaluate and optimize M&A HR technology solutions by gathering requirements, managing intake requests, conducting UAT, and implementing regular system enhancements
Lead or support process improvement projects aimed at scaling ES M&A operations, leveraging automation while ensuring compliance
Oversee the onboarding and training of new team members
Partner with virtual and extended ES COE teams globally to ensure consistent delivery of designated ES M&A workstream plans across regions, adhering to local policies and processes
Engage closely with teams such as Corporate Development, Finance, IT, and other stakeholders to execute M&A workstreams, proactively troubleshooting issues and escalating risks as needed
Deliver influential internal presentations to ensure stakeholders are enabled and aligned on deal milestones and strategy (e.g., internal deal briefing sessions, weekly integration meetings, data and survey analysis insights)
Lead or assist in employee integration initiatives such as M&A employment packages, background investigations, addressing employee inquiries, and managing employee communications
Design and execute impactful employee-facing programs (including information sessions, onboarding initiatives, and deal celebration activities) to enhance engagement and integration

Required

Strong proficiency in advanced Excel and Google Sheets, including sophisticated formulas and functionality for working with large datasets
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely, both in written form and when delivering presentations and leading an ongoing project initiative
Proven ability to present findings, data analysis, and strategic recommendations to diverse audiences in a clear and compelling manner, driving alignment and decision-making
A strong focus on data accuracy and system integrity
Ability to manage and navigate ambiguity, work effectively under pressure, and handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
Uses detailed logic to understand hidden problems and identify effective solutions without adding complexity
Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter
Ability to develop effective relationships across all levels of the organization and with diverse cross-functional groups
Ability to flex working hours and priorities to support deal activity requirements and international timezones

Preferred

Experience with Workday HCM or similar HR technology platforms, particularly in data management, reporting, and system integration
Familiarity with predictive analytics techniques and experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau to present data-driven insights
Experience in HR M&A and Compensation
A basic understanding of AI in HR capabilities
Experience in at least one other HR discipline—such as operations, analytics, generalist functions, employee experience, or Workday
Developing consulting and influencing skills
High level of curiosity and eagerness to learn
