Transportation Engineer 9-P11 (Mt. Pleasant TSC) - Bay Region
NEOGOV is seeking a Transportation Engineer for the State of Michigan. This multi-disciplinary position involves various professional engineering responsibilities related to transportation design, construction, and maintenance.

Responsibilities
Performs or participates in a variety of professional engineering responsibilities involving the Transportation Service Center (TSC) and Region functions of design, construction, maintenance, traffic and safety, soils, and materials control and testing of transportation facilities
Assists with project scoping and estimating for maintenance and construction work, scoping and preparing projects for the call-for-projects (CFP) process, design plan preparation, utility coordination, and assists the TSC team in technical work
Qualification
Required
Possession of a bachelor of science degree in engineering
Engineer 9: No specific type or amount is required
Engineer 10: One year of professional experience providing electrical, mechanical, or chemical engineering services equivalent to an Engineer 9
Engineer P11: Two years of professional experience providing electrical, mechanical, or chemical engineering services equivalent to an Engineer, including one year equivalent to an Engineer 10
Possess a valid driver's license
If applicable, attach a copy of your official college transcripts and/or foreign degree evaluation with your application
Preferred
Although not required, do you possess a bachelor of science or higher degree in Civil Engineering?
