Responsibilities

Perform laboratory experiments following established protocols and procedures
Prepare and handle samples, reagents, and solutions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety guidelines
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments, conducting routine calibration and troubleshooting as needed
Record experimental data accurately and maintain organized records of procedures, protocols, and results
Compile and analyze data using appropriate statistical and analytical methods
Assist in data interpretation and presentation, contributing to research findings and reports

Required

Bachelor's degree or in the process of completing a bachelor's degree with a grace period of six months from hire date to provide degree equivalency verification
Strong work ethic
Ability to maintain laboratory equipment
Ability to organize and prepare samples
Experience conducting experiments
Experience recording and analyzing data
Training in mouse handling and procedures
Training in cell culture
Training in protein analysis (Western blot, ELISA, immunohistochemistry, immunocytochemistry)
Training in microscopy and image analysis
Ability to order supplies and maintain lab operations
Ability to document experiments in an electronic notebook in a timely fashion
Ability to prepare presentations to report experimental progress
Ability to work independently and as a team member
