Responsibilities
Managing and overseeing the compilation, data analysis, design, partner contributions, and distribution of the Community Health Assessment (CHA) and the State of the County Health Report (SOTCH)
Managing a county-wide Healthy Carolinians of Orange County (HCOC) coalition task force
Guiding and facilitating leadership among the operating committees of HCOC and the creation of Community Health Improvement plans (CHIPs)
Guiding and assisting committee co-chairs and project leaders to meet goals that are set and identified in the CHIPs providing ongoing administrative and project support for each group
Organizing and facilitating HCOC communication and marketing needs, resource sharing and collaboration around topics identified through the CHA
Qualification
Required
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a master's degree in public health, health education or related field AND two (2) years of professional experience where the primary function is program development and management of health-related programs
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree with four (4) years of professional experience where the primary function is program development and management of health-related programs
An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined above. A higher degree does not substitute for work experience
Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver's license issued by the State of North Carolina for the type of vehicle or equipment operated
All offers of employment are conditional upon successful clearance of a background check and pre-employment drug testing
Employment cannot commence until the employee has been cleared
