Responsibilities
Make sure website design, layout, and coding are optimized for search engines
Work with web designers to maintain consistent SEO standards
Regularly test website SEO rankings
Troubleshoot technical SEO issues
Provide feedback to the digital marketing team about SEO
Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO guidelines and implement them
Help with integrations to improve or maintain SEO
Plan for potential SEO problems
Keep marketing managers and team members informed about SEO standards and changes
Provide technical support during the web design process
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in computer science, programming, or web development
Front-end development and, if possible, web design, SEO, or related fields
Proficiency in front-end languages like HTML, CSS, and JS
Experience with back-end languages is helpful
A good understanding of general SEO principles and web design
Familiarity with CMS software, markdown, graphic design, website architecture, and integrations
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Organized, deadline-driven, and detail-oriented
Has knowledge of various coding languages and SEO tools
Preferred
Certification in SEO or Google Analytics is a plus
Experience with Amplience and Salesforce Commerce cloud a plus
Experience with Web site migrations a plus
