Responsibilities
Teach 30- and 60-minute private brass lessons (and occasional small groups)
Build lesson plans tailored to each student’s age, level, and goals
Teach core fundamentals: tone production, breathing, articulation, technique, reading/literacy, and repertoire
Prepare students for recitals and performance opportunities
Communicate professionally with parents/guardians and adult students regarding progress and practice expectations
Maintain consistent weekly availability and reliable attendance
Qualification
Required
Strong proficiency on at least one brass instrument; multi-brass ability is a plus
Teaching experience and/or youth leadership experience strongly preferred; performance background a plus
Comfortable working with kids and families; professional and dependable
Reliable transportation to our location
Ability to commit to a consistent weekly schedule, especially weekday afternoons/evenings and Saturdays
